Mill Valley based band looking for a lead guitarist who can make a credible attempt at the styles of the Dead, Allman Brothers, Steely Dan, Doors, Dire Straits, Pink Floyd (and so on). Just before Covid we had the lineup we wanted, but we lost our guitarist and drummer to out-of-area job changes, so now we're back down to bass and keyboards (we both sing). Now that we're vaccinated and ready to play together, we're putting together the next iteration of the band. So if you are into this kind of music, and can play at "professional but doing it for the love of it" level, please drop me a line and we can exchange recordings to see if we might have a fit. Regarding drummers, we have some friends and leads, but if you know (or are) someone looking to play in this vein, please let us know. Regarding "originals" - so far this band hasn't gone that way, but historically we have individually written quite a few songs, so if you push us that way, we could go more in that direction. And in case this sounds like a familiar story to you Craigslist readers, yes, this is Ethan - it seems I need to make one of these posts every so often for one reason or another, but all to the same end.
