Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 05/23/2021  Preliminary Information: On 5/22/21, around 9:11 pm, officers responded to 595 Piedmont Ave in reference to a Robbery. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated while in the parking lot of the location she was approached by two black male suspects who attempted to take her purse and vehicle. The victim stated the suspects fled the scene with only her purse. No suspect description given at this time. The victim was not injured.  Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident and to possibly identify anyone involved. The investigation continues Please keep in mind the above information is preliminary in nature and could change as the investigation progresses or new information comes to light.
