Parakeet in need of rehoming TODAY!!

I have a parakeet that I've spent well over $400 on with toys, food, all necessities. I need to rehome him because my roommates dog killed my rabbit (they snuggled and were buddies for 7 months so it was sudden) and now I just don't feel like this is a safe place for him. :( He (Disco) is very sweet, timid and loves millet spray! He does well with other birds and would love a companion! All he needs is attention and a safe home. I am asking for a $50 rehoming fee or OBO. The parakeet comes with large cage, accessories, food and everything. The cage alone was $140 /: I need him rehomed TODAY! I already told my landlord he would be gone by today.
