EM Childcare is licensed and complies with all applicable licensing regulations and standards in the State of Maryland. EM Childcare provider is CPR, SIDS and First Aid certified and has completed Family Child Care training. Capacity: 8 children Ages Served: 6 months to 14 years old Hours of operation: Full time 7.30 a.m. - 5.30 p.m. (Monday- Friday) EM Child Care offers licensed care in a loving, safe, smoke-free, and-pet free home environment in a fully renovated building. Emotionally positive ambiance supports the enjoyment of learning. An appropriate and carefully selected curriculum aims at developing: Social/ Emotional, Language, Cognitive, and Physical skills. The daily schedule includes, art, craft, music, dances, dramatic play, puppet shows, etc. EM Childcare educational programs are inspired by Montessori and Waldorf methods and are designed for a small mixed age group. Multicultural celebrations, traditions, songs, and folk stories are encouraged. Academic planned activities including introductions to: Math, Science, Reading, Writing, History, and Geography are parts of the education. In addition to English reading, writing and grammar, EM Childcare offer basic teaching in Bulgarian, French, Russian and Spanish. Safe, private, and large back yard provides opportunities for outdoor activities and fun. Breakfast, morning and afternoon snacks are included in the weekly tuition. 5% discount for older sibling tuition. As an EXELS participants we are accepting vouchers. Infant/toddler spot available.
