Saturday, June 5th is National Croquet Day! We are hosting an event at Meanwhile Brewing Co from 12-3PM. - Hours needed - 11am to 3PM. - $50 shift pay -Must wear a clean full white outfit I'm looking for an event assistant (preferably someone who is familiar with croquet) to assist with the event coordination on the lawns. All instructions will be provided and the work is very simple. Just need someone with a positive attitude and friendly demeanor. Welcome to the resurgence of one of America’s most nostalgic leisure sports. Come join the Sunset Lawn Croquet Club as they transform Meanwhile Brewing Company's soccer pitch into 2 croquet lawns for an afternoon of casual games. No experience required - quick instruction available to all! Perfect for groups, dates, and anyone who loves sipping on drinks while playing backyard sports with friends. RSVP is required for access to the lawns, but the event is open to everyone who wants to hang out for the afternoon. Between games, have a seat, a drink, a snack and enjoy the ambiance of the Meanwhile Brewing Co. Here’s what to expect: * An amazing line-up of Meanwhile Brewing Co drafts and low abv cocktails (as always) * A lively afternoon with global funk and soul beats * Prizes for winners of our Classic One Wicket Challenge, plus the opportunity to win a one year membership to the US Croquet Association (no experience required) * Lawn play is first come, first served with a constantly rotating waitlist after each game. Feel free to play singles (2 players) or doubles (4 players) for each game through 6 wickets. You never have to play with strangers (unless you want to). * White/neutral tone outfits are required to play on the lawns (at least 50% of your outfit), but Meanwhile white shirts will be fashionably for sale in the taproom. * For all you croquet aficionados, we will be playing Golf Croquet Rules. If you’re unfamiliar with the various types of croquet, it is the most simple form of the sport. Grab your friends and your white outfits. We’ll provide all the equipment.
