A reputable, rapidly-expanding construction and remodel contractor is looking for experienced and motivated Fencing Installers to help us keep up with the high demand for our services throughout the Pacific Northwest. This is the ideal opportunity for someone who is willing to adapt, learn, and grow with a company that has consistently witnessed explosive growth over the last several years. * The Fencing Installer’s responsibilities include working to exceed client expectations on every project, every day by offering exceptional customer service and high quality fencing solutions. The Fencing Installer will work with both the office and field staff to ensure that each project is completed in a timely manner per the specifications provided by the client while also selling new jobs on a daily basis to leads generated by the office staff. To succeed in this role, the Fencing Installer should be able to sell our company’s services out in the field, complete assigned projects, and regularly meet project deadlines and expectations. This includes the ability to prioritize tasks and identify upsell opportunities based on observations and customer needs. The Fencing Installers’ duties are to ensure to the best of their ability that all assigned projects are completed on time and meet the high quality standards of our company. * This position supports the mission of the organization by demonstrating a high degree of attentiveness to clients’ needs and requests while also building rapport and upholding the high standards of our brand. Individuals applying for this position should have experience in fencing installation and at least a cursory knowledge of sales. * PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES • Stay on top of project expectations and specifications • Keep work sites organized and efficient • Document progress made at every work site • Prepare necessary materials and tools for assigned projects • Ensure project deadlines are met • Maintain an open channel of communication with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are being met • Install fencing in various residential (and sometimes commercial) settings • Manage assistants and helpers assigned to your work site • Exhibit professionalism and a high level of expertise in company processes * CAPABILITIES/COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS: • Working knowledge of fencing installation and maintenance • Willingness to learn and adopt ethical sales methods and techniques • Willingness to complete projects to company and client specifications • Ability to meet deadlines on a regular basis • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight • Ability to manage assistants and helpers on job sites • Excellent communication skills that allow for building rapport with customers and keeping them up-to-date on project progress • Team player and strong collaborator • Interest in helping improve and optimize existing processes * Job Type: Full-time + Overtime Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour DOE
