Description
Ollie is a high energy 1 year old Husky Malamute Lab. Born March 9th 2020. When I got Ollie she was gifted to me out of nowhere from my aunt. I was a 17 year old who has never had a dog before so I didnt know what I was doing. My aunt always took her for shots and never gave me vet records, I know she had rabies at 4 months and needs her shots updated. I have tried so hard over the past year to be a good dog mom and read training books and educated myself on how to give Ollie the best life but overall I was unprepared and uneducated. The main reason I decided to rehome Ollie now is I lost my parents recently and Im stuggling with balancing school, work, and newly being on my own. Ollie deserves better and I want her to have a forever home preferably on lots of land or just a fenced yard with someone who will work with her. My biggest fear is her ending up in a dog shelter. She loves other dogs and the dog park, she has lived with other dogs, she likes cats but cats don’t like her because she try’s to play rough with them. She has lived with kids but she trys to play a bit rough, she really needs someone to teach her how to play gentle. She likes to bark a lot, she is super sweet and cuddly and always wants to sit next to you, she just wants to love everyone. She has never shown aggression and has no bite history. She is potty trained knows basic cues, sit, down, leave it, and stay, but she is still doing it with treats. She definitely needs someone to work with her more. She will chew on anything and everything so I never leave her unattended, she is used to being crated for no more than a couple hours a day. Ollie is in overall good health, no conditions and I regularly clip her nails, clean her ears, brush her teeth, and flea and tick treat her. Rehoming fees are the last thing on my mind, I just want her to have a good stable home, I won’t ask a crazy rehoming fee. I can give you her crate and everything else she has with the rest of her food. I will bring Ollie to you, I wouldnt like to drive more than 100 miles in any direction of Portland but I will make it work for the right person or family. call or text 97l 323 959l
