You dodged a bullet

Description

I know the times we had were great, when they were, but I was a toxic human; egocentric and narcissistic. I realized, much too late that living like that won't get you very far and the best way to live is to not make excuses and to own your faults. I do back track time and again, but I'm working on becoming a better ally for everyone. I took the gaslighting manipulative part of me into the woods and put him in the ground. Hopefully they stay buried out there. Though I will admit, it would be a lie if I said that I did it for anyone in general, other than for myself of course, even if that seems selfish. But honestly, dodging that bullet in that time period helped a lot (not the actions themself, but the freedom that followed them) you were much better off without that kind of pain in your life. You didn't deserve that. No one deserves that. Just keep doing what you're doing, living your best life. And I'm glad these last two years haven't stopped you from doing what you want to do, whatever that is. Enjoy your freedom and keep making magically-lovely things. It's part of what keeps this world beautiful. Sincerely, C
