Yakima Valley Genealogical Society is dedicated to helping genealogists and family historians research their roots. We have members who can help you get started on this wonderful journey of discovery that we call genealogy. Our research library has a large and growing collection of genealogically related materials that will provide useful information on locating your ancestors. We hold monthly meetings, an annual spring seminar and a fall workshop with topics beneficial to your research. There are spring and summer genealogy classes for beginners and intermediate researchers. Our library is open to the public and all are welcome. Our hours are: Monday-Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
