Wages: $20 - $25 per hour based on experience Benefits: 1.100% paid for health care plan which includes health care, vision and dental benefits for employee, spouse and eligible children. $18,840 annually 2.401K/Profit Sharing Plan. 4% match 3.Sick Days: 6 days per year. 4.Vacation: •Two (2) weeks after one (1) year of employment. •Three (3) weeks after five (5) years of employment. •Four (4) weeks after fifteen (15) years of employment. Work Hours: Work hours are Monday through Friday between the hours of 7am to 4pm. Overtime will be required with the possibility of an occasional Saturday as needed. Qualifications: •Maintain clean, current and valid California Driver’s License •The ability to lift 75lbs. •Forklift certified or ability to obtain within first month of employment. •Excellent written and verbal communication skills. •Proficiency in the use of computers and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. •Read and effectively interpret general business and construction documentation. •Personable, well organized, responsible, self-motivated, and self-starter. •Customer service skills to properly assist internal and external customers. Physical, Mental and Environmental Requirements: •Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously is a must. •Employee is required to sit, stand, walk, climb and use hands/fingers. •Lifting, reaching, grasping and carrying of light to heavy objects is required. •Occasional outside activities are subject to seasonal temperature fluctuations. •The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Shipping: •Properly identify and label all material shipped using our tracking system. •Ship material common carrier to our customers and vendors. •Keep accurate records on all shipped items. •Load delivery trucks as needed •Compare and update Shipping documents with job parts list Receiving: •Properly identify and label all material received using our tracking system. •Receive material shipments from common carrier. •Keep accurate records on all material received •Compare and update receiving documents with job parts list •Unload delivery trucks as needed Building Maintenance: •Keep shipping/receiving area clean and organized. •Change HVAC filters on quarterly basis •Inspect fire extinguishers on monthly basis •Sweep parking garage on monthly basis •Sweep/vacuum warehouse and office on weekly basis •Clean warehouse and office on a weekly basis. •Take out warehouse and office trash weekly. •Keep all delivery vehicles clean, fueled and organized. •Assist in other warehouse/office maintenance as instructed by supervisor Product & Tool Inventory: •Follow up on requests for information and tasks in a timely and effective manner. •Keep accurate records on all material movements. •Keep inventory shelves neat and organized. •Pull inventory as needed for staged jobs and deliveries. •Properly stage and put away inventory returned from jobs. •Perform quarterly inventory audits. •Manage and maintain overall inventory value amounts as directed by management. •Build knowledge of all product lines and services offered by company. Travel: •Practice safe driving at all times and adhere to California driving laws and regs •Ability to drive a standard size van and a larger truck (bob-tail) up to 24' •Load/unload and accurately document material on delivery truck •Deliver inventory to customers, field personnel and job sites as needed.
