This job will require you to load, unload and organize materials using a forklift and other equipment in the yard. Also help prepare and load construction equipment to trucks, ensuring accuracy of the load quantity and quality. This position requires the incumbent to be flexible and adaptable to the changes that quickly affect this job. Communication (Reading, Writing, Speaking) is critical in the activities of yard personnel. Must be able to move materials by hand and by use of a forklift. Duties will include, but not be limited to: Load trucks with materials for truck drivers to transport to jobsites Move materials stationed throughout the yard Maintain neat and clean appearance of the premises Check for maintenance needs of all yard equipment and report issues (good or bad) to proper personnel Maintain safe working environment; ensuring the security and safety employees
