The vast majority of the roles, including this role, have temporarily moved to work at home. When we returns to normal operations, this role will return to the assigned onsite work location. The repossession department is looking for collection assistants. If you are a good negotiator and like to help customers while minimizing delinquency, then this is the job for you. As a Repossession associate you will be responsible for calling significantly delinquent customers to arrange for payments and work with vendors to ensure collateral is located and retrieved from customers that are unwilling to pay. The main objective of the role is to resolve customer delinquency and avoid repossession of the collateral. To ensure productivity in a home environment, applicants must meet the space and technology requirements outlined below. These requirements will no longer be applicable once the role returns onsite. Requirements: A secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions of any kind General Responsibilities: Negotiates payment arrangements from significantly delinquent customers. Works with vendors to ensure drop shippers collateral is located and retrieved as necessary Utilizes skip tracing tools to locate customers successfully Uses queue management skills to in order to work an assigned group of accounts. Basic Qualifications: Legal to work in the US Have a valid means of identification Speaks and understands English Fluently.
