A showcase to center local Black and LGBTQIA+ artists and designers. Join us, June 26th for our second annual art and fashion show. "Heroes among us” is a showcase of work by local Black and LGBTQIA+ artists and designers who take creative risks, celebrate the culture and honor the Black aesthetic. BOP aims to create an environment that fosters support for queer perspectives, stories, and identities that have historically and systemically been repressed within the broader art community, in hopes for greater exchange in the queer art scene and in the black community Black, Out, and Proud, Inc. is a federally recognized 501c3. Our mission is to provide advocacy, education, and inspiration for and by the Black LGBTQ+ community. We envision a place where Black LGBTQ+ people are thriving, valued, and celebrated by ourselves and others.
