Starting out years ago when Chris Parker was asked to join Paul Butterfield Better Days , when Eric Parker was asked to join The Fabulous Rhinestones, when Nicholas Parker was asked to join Orleans and when Tony was asked to join The Mary Travers Band. Highly influenced by their Dad in music and art. And believe it or not, at 94, is still drumming with his jazz quintet and will also be drumming at the show on July 3rd at Bearsville Theater. The Parker Brothers have a sort of ‘monopoly' on drum chairs with most of the area’s local band’s as well as national and worldwide acts . From the beginning there was something special about the way they played drums! And now after many years in the music business they have a resumé that’s a mile long. Here's just a few of the artists they’ve drummed with; Miles Davis, Joe Cocker, Bob Dylan, Steve Winwood, Pete Townshend, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Lionel Hampton, Boz Skaggs, Stuff, Lou Reed, The Brecker Brothers,Todd Rundgren, James Taylor, Carly Simon, Bonnie Raitt, Ian Hunter, Orleans, The Rhinestones, Eric Clapton, John Sebastian, Michelle Shocked, Happy Traum, Pousette-Dart Band, Cloudburst, Tom Pacheco, Marc Black, Gary Windo, Robbie Dupree,John Hall Band, Linda Ronstadt, Cher, Bette Midler, Saturday Night Live Band, Ben E. The Parker Brothers Extravaganza with all 5 drummers and very special guests and fun exciting surprises to make a very memorable night of grooving hard, danceable, soulful and heartfelt music! COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS Please read the mandates and restrictions that have been supplied by the State of New York and the Town of Woodstock. Each attendee must be prepared to show proof of one of the following: COVID-19 vaccine schedule has been fully-completed (2 shots of Pfizer or Moderna, or 1 shot of Johnson & Johnson) at least 14 days, but no more than 180 days (revised from 90 days), prior to the date of the show. Acceptable forms of proof are limited to: CDC-issued COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card OR a digital Excelsior Pass issued via New York State's Excelsior Pass mobile app along with your government issued photo ID A negative result from a PCR test which has been completed within 3 days (72 hours) prior to the show gates time A negative result from an antigen test which has been completed within 6 hours of the show gates time. If you are unable to show proof of one of the above, you may purchase a self-administered COVID-19 Antigen Test for $10. We will be utilizing a non-contact forehead thermometer to check your body temperature upon your arrival. Maintain the required social distance of 6 feet.
