Thrift 2 Fight will host a pop-up fundraising thrift sale to raise funds for Syrcuse-based organizations. Thrift 2 Fight will host a pop-up fundraising thrift sale to raise funds for Syrcuse-based organizations Housing Unchained, BLM Syracuse Public Citizen, Workers Center of CNY, AGREE, New York Immigration Coalition, and Syracuse Peace Council This summer, Thrift 2 Fight aims to raise $20,000 for various local social justice organizations. Last year they raised $20,000 over the course of 16 thrift sales, turning their cause into a movement. These pop-ups are not only a chance to buy affordable clothing in a sustainable way, they also serve as an opportunity to support local grassroots organizations in one's own community, with 100% of sale proceeds donated. At these sales customers can learn more about activist work happening in xctheir own community — many of the organizations will be on-hand to spread the word about their mission, community resources, and upcoming events
