Learn Strategies to Improve Executive Function Skills - Available for Grades 6-12 Thorup Tutoring is known for providing the best one-on-one tutoring available. Our limited capacity Executive Functions Workshop is designed to help your child with skills such as organization, planning, working memory, and task initiation. These are all vital tools that many students struggle with but are struggling with more due to the pandemic. Let us help get your students back on track for the 2021 school year! Each 3-hour workshop is designed to help students learn the following skills: Manage and make plansSwitch focus and engage in active listeningComplete work on timeRemember details and analyze ideasApply previously learned information to solve problemsEngage in a growth mindset, not a fixed mindsetDates/Times: Grades 6-8 Friday, June 25th 10:30AM-1:30PM Friday, July 16th 12:00PM to 3:00PMGrades 9-12 Friday, July 9th 10:30AM to 1:30PMFriday, July 30th 12:00PM to 3:00PMLocation: Thorup Tutoring - 4527 South 2300 East, Suite #106 Holladay, Utah 84117 Each workshop will be limited to 6 students and will include a light lunch. Vikki Carrel, an academic language therapist at Thorup Tutoring, will teach the workshops. A copy of her newly released book, Building Blocks, will be included in the price of each session. Transfer and Cancelation Policy: Transferring workshop days can be done up to 10 days prior to the start of a workshop with no fee.Transferring within 10 days of the start date of a workshop can be done with a $25 administration fee.If canceling with more than 10 days till the start of a workshop, all money paid will be refunded.If canceling with less than 10 days prior to the start of a workshop there will be a $25 administration feeIf canceling the week of there will be NO REFUND
