About Thalia: Thalia Sarris Banowsky co-founded Wood Banowsky, PLLC in Dallas, Texas with her law partner, David Allen Wood. Ms. Banowsky represents private companies, executives, investors, and investment funds in a broad array of engagements, including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, entity structuring and formation, offerings of debt and equity securities, and general corporate governance and transactional matters. In addition, she routinely serves clients of the firm in an outside general counsel capacity, advising on general legal matters, coordinating the work of other professionals, and counseling senior management on business strategy. Ms. Banowsky works with clients in all stages of the business life cycle, and takes great pride in providing counsel to entrepreneurs working hard to achieve their dreams by pursuing their passions through startups and early stage businesses. Thalia is an alumnae of Southern Methodist University having earned both her J.D. and LL.M in Taxation from SMU. A proud mother of three grown children, she is especially looking forward to seeing her daughter, Thalia Claire, join the bar upon graduation from UT Law School in 2022.
