For two day one hour sessions, local author Laurel Gale will engage children and tweens in a book talk of her novel and her writing process. In session one, Laurel will discuss the characters, themes, and magic systems of her book Story Magic. Session 2 will be a look at Story Magic and the writing process. Students will learn about the three key steps in writing: planning, drafting, & revision. Registered participants can pick up a copy of Story Magic at the library 3 weeks before the workshop. Ages 8-12 Dates: July 15 & 16 Registration is for the full 2-day program!
