JMDC Discovery Camp is a STEAM based summer day camp for Beginning Explorers ages 5-12 years old exploring many unique aspects of our world. Triassic, Jurassic, Cretaceous! Oh my! This week, explorers will encounter the wonders of dinosaurs! Travel back in time with hands-on excavations, crafts, and games to get a glimpse into the world of paleontology. Budding paleontologist will get up close and personal with our Mesozoic mates. Each day, explorers will meet two new dinosaurs and learn about the diets, habitats, and adaptations needed to thrive. In addition to their dinosaur encounters, explorers will craft their own personal dinosaur suit to compete in our annual Dino games! Explorers will unearth fun facts about their favorite dinosaurs, have fun, and make new friends. Explorers will be on a closed campus. Gates open at 8:45 am for check-in, programs starts at 9:00 am. Gates will close at 9:15 am and open for pick-up at 12:45 pm. Program ends at 1:00 pm and Explorers should be on their way home by 1:15 pm. If you have questions please call our office, 951.685.5818.
