North Carolina Nationals is a traditional martial arts tournament. All those registered are also invited to the seminar on July 30th. Please join Hanshi Larry Isaac and Larry Isaac's Martial Arts Center for this special tournament! All events take place at the Marriott hotel at Research Triangle Park in Durham. On Friday July 30th, the night before the tournament, there will be a seminar by Mr. Bill Hayes from 6 - 7:30 pm, followed by a round-table Q&A with visiting dignitaries, including: Mr. Karl Hovey, Mr. Leon Wright, Mr. Bill Hayes, and Mr. Rick Moneymaker. All registered participants are invited to attend! Additionally, there will be a publication written by Hanshi Larry Isaac available for $10 at the door the day of the tournament; it will include martial arts history, as well as memorials in honor of Mr. Bill McDonald and Mr. Butch Velez. The day following the tournament, Sunday August 1, from 10am-1pm, there will be a seminar presented by the Dragon Society International that is also included with registration. Only those who have pre-registered as participants or spectators will be allowed entry to the tournament; there will be NO same-day registration. Registration for the event closes on July 15th. Any schools wishing to be included in the publication by Hanshi Isaac are invited to submit school photos and a short write-up to: [email protected]. In order to be included, submissions must be made by June 30th. To keep our event as safe as possible for our high-risk population, all participants and spectators must be masked during the tournament! Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you there!
