An XPLRMEET is a community driven, creative gathering that happens once a month within the city of Nashville. June's XPLRMEET will be at South Cumberland State Park with "Waterfalls" as the theme. Itinerary: 10:00AM-1:00PM - We will begin a two mile, round trip hike to Greeter Falls (intermediate level trail). During this hike, we will descend to the bottom of Greeter Falls and take photos of the falls and the area surrounding. This usually takes about an hour. Optional Itinerary: After we finish the Greeter Falls hike, we will drive to another section of the park and hike to Stone Door (easy - 2 mile round trip). TIPS FOR SHOOTING WATERFALLS ARE BELOW!! We'll also be shooting rain or shine! Notes: We will be implementing social distancing. We request you use a mask at your discretion. Please reach out to us if you would need a mask provided for you. Food and drinks are not included. Pack a lunch, water, hiking boots, and anything you can think of to make your experience better. We will meet at the Greeter Falls Parking Lot (address below) at 10am and start our hike down to Greeter Falls around 10:15am. If you are minor you can attend if you a parent/guardian accompany you. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Due to everything happening with the pandemic, we are recommended driving yourself. What can I bring into the event? Hiking boots, Water, Packed Lunch, Camera, Yourself, Dog, Friends, Walking Sticks, GoPro, Protein Bars, and whatever else you need for hiking. Is there some equipment that's best for shooting waterfalls? Yes. There are three items that work well for shooting waterfalls: (Recommend Equipment) 1. Wide Angle Lens 2. Tripod 3.
