Piano Project Installations Begin Next Week

STAMFORD, CT — From 7:30 a.m. to noon on June 1-2, 25 decorated pianos will be installed in Downtown Stamford for the summer of 2021. These pianos are part of Stamford Downtown's outdoor summer sculpture exhibit, The Piano Project. Twenty-five talented artists have magically transformed donated pianos into works of art, full of creativity and humor. The 25 pianos will be on display for all to play and enjoy on the streets and parks of Stamford Downtown. Upon completion of the exhibit, the pianos will be auctioned off with a portion of the proceeds to benefit Project Music. For more information on The Piano Project, click here.
