Hi! My name is Valerie Altman and I am a local piano, voice and theater teacher! I began just like all of my students...loving music and loving theater. It was my life back then and I've made it my life as an adult in a new and amazing way. With an undergraduate degree in Music Performance and a graduate degree in Education (Elementary, Middle and Special), I have been running my own business since 2013! This summer I am introducing a NEW Musical Theater Workshop geared towards Audition Readiness! In this workshop series your child will become more comfortable and confident auditioning and performing. By the end of the 4 weeks they will have an audition song and monologue mastered, to use for all upcoming auditions. The best part is, they get to spend their mornings with like-minded peers while strengthening their singing and acting skills. This workshop will be twice a week for four weeks through the month of July, each session lasting two and a half hours. Location TBD.
