Ashburn 7-Eleven Robbed on Thursday, Suspect At Large: Police

ASHBURN, VA — A masked man with a gun robbed the 7-Eleven in 20600 block of Ashburn Road on Thursday morning, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Now, authorities are looking to speak with anyone who may be able to identify the suspect. Authorities said the man entered the 7-Eleven just before 1 a.m. on Thursday, May 27. He initially approached the counter and asked to buy cigarettes, according to a report released by the sheriff's office. The suspect then pulled out a gun and demanded cash, police said. The suspect received "a small amount of cash," according to authorities. The man fled the store after receiving the cash. No injuries were reported in the robbery, police said. The sheriff's office said the suspect is a white man who is approximately six feet tall and weighs about 190 pounds. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a dark baseball hat, a green hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, a medical mask, and black shoes. He also has short brown hair, authorities said.
