Teenager Charged In Stabbing At South Riding McDonald's: Police
LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A 17-year-old boy from Fairfax County was charged in connection with a stabbing that occurred in April in South Riding, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. The stabbing occurred at the McDonald's in the 43200 block of Defender Drive around 1:30 a.m. on Monday, April 12, according to authorities. Police said that the stabbing was not a random attack. According to authorities, the assailant emerged from the bushes outside of the McDonald's and stabbed the victim. The victim was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, the sheriff's office said at the time. He has since been released from the hospital, police said. The name of the 17-year-old suspect has not been released, since he is a minor. He is charged with aggravated malicious wounding, according to the sheriff's office. He is currently being held at the Loudoun County Juvenile Detention Center.
