This is the game that our politics a play. One side starts high. The other side starts low. A figure will be agreed upon somewhere in the middle. The roles are reversed when it comes to military spending. The Republicans always go high. The Democrats ways go low. A figure in the middle becomes that final number. It’s a silly game that politicians play because we have a two party system. Do away with the childish political party system and we can have more productive conversations. Without political parties, our leaders can have productive conversations and not waste time posturing and bickering. Americans seem to love the drama and the nonsense that political parties offer. I think it’s nonsense. The oil tidal party division cost the nation billions of dollars ever year, maybe more that could be spent on more productive things.
