Please Help me learn to play Taps with my Father's Trumpet

I would like someone to help me learn to play Taps on my Father's antique 1920's Trumpet I am not musically inclined so it would be a challenge !!! Its a long shot.. Thank you,, He was 96 when he passed and I always remember him recounting his playing "Oh the monkey rapped his tail around the flagpole" As he marched down The Alameda, in the Columbia Park Boys band into San Jose about 1920. The only song that they knew........... Please come to my Antique Warehouse estate sale on Saturdays after 10am at 3515 The Alameda, Santa Clara, West of Harrison St.
