Press release from the City of Irving: May 28, 2021 Planning for the city's Fiscal Year 2021-22 budget is underway, and residents have the opportunity to provide input on the budget during public hearings, as well as online. Resident comments can be made to the City Council on any aspect of the budget including tax rates, fees, programs and services.  Public Input Sessions City Hall, 825 W. Irving Blvd.  7 p.m., June 3 7 p.m., June 17 Two additional public hearings will be held on the proposed budget following the budget retreat in August. Adoption of the budget is scheduled for Sept. 16 and the city's budget year runs from Oct. 1 to Sept. 30. Call the City Secretary's Office at (972) 721-2493 to confirm public hearing dates.
