Facilities Maintenance Lead

Working Hours: Full-time; 1.0 FTE
General Responsibilities:
The Facilities Maintenance Lead is an integral team member of the Facilities Department responsible for the outward appearance and upkeep of the school grounds and facilities at Bellevue Christian School. This individual will support the facilities needs at all district campuses.
Responsibilities will include (full job description available on request):
Check e-mail and Help Desk ticketing system daily for any current issues and assignments by the Facilities Manager
Be a part of the team that handles all general building repair/maintenance including, but not limited to:
Light plumbing repairs, leaks, valves, and clogged drains
Minor electrical repairs including bulbs, switches, outlets and face plate replacement
Building repairs, roofing, drain and down spouts, drywall, tile, acoustic ceiling, painting, and locking systems.
Landscape maintenance, mowing, weed whacking, edging, trimming, invasive plant removal, trash, and irrigation repairs,
Furniture and equipment moving as necessary in offices and classrooms
Setup and cleanup of all project work sites, prior to next project
Assist or lead in special event setup/tear down and parking
Responsible for interfacing with plumbing, HVAC, electrical, building equipment and roofing contractors, when asked.
Qualifications:
· 1-3 years building maintenance experience (required)
Experience working in a Christian ministry environment (preferred)
Additional Details:
· Required OSPI fingerprint/background clearance
· Must be in agreement with BCS Doctrinal Statement
