Lotus Landscapes & Arboriculture is looking for an experienced Landscape Specialist/Foreman to join our crew. Founded in 2003, Lotus Landscapes & Arboriculture is a landscape design and build company rooted in detailed craftsmanship and an uncompromising dedication to quality. Our crew is a bold, eclectic team with expertise in design and build, masonry, horticulture, arboriculture, and fabrication. A majority of our projects are on the Kitsap Peninsula, although we do work throughout western Washington. The Landscape Specialist/Foreman will be responsible for performing manual and machine-operated landscape build work as directed. They will also be called upon to manage on-site crews, as needed. The ideal candidate is: • Trustworthy and organized • Experienced in landscape and construction work • Experienced in machine operation and related job site safety protocols • Experienced in on-site crew management • Proficient in verbal and written communication and can demonstrate effective interpersonal skills • Able to perform and manage tasks as directed by foreman/site supervisior • Interested in or, ideally, has experience with techniques related to horticulture and arboriculture • Interested in growing their expertise in landscape and construction techniques • Able to lift at least 50 pounds and has no mobility issues Experience in stone masonry and/or concrete work a plus! All Lotus employees are expected to: • Be able to work independently as well as in a team setting • Have their own reliable transportation to and from job sites • Maintain a professional attitude and appearance—including appropriate work attire • Be punctual and account for their time on each job site • Work outside in a variety of weather conditions This is a part-time to full time position with opportunities for advancement. Compensation: Hourly DOE with potential bonuses based on performance. We offer paid holidays off and comply with Washington State’s Paid Family and Medical Leave program.
