Job Description: Sewing machine operators operate, inspect, and repair sewing machines. A sewing machine operator threads the machine (this is a very intricate process on many machine models), adjusts the tension settings based on the type of thread being used, selects stitch settings, and then gets down to sewing. Location: Charlotte Pay: $14.25 per hour Skills & Qualifications: Experience as a sewing machine operator. Knowledge of production procedures. Ability to read the project manuals. Attention to detail. Teamwork. Physical stamina and strength. Ability to operate a double-needle machine. Responsibilities: Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing. Ensure that equipment is maintained in good and safe working conditions. Inspect equipment to identify any replacements, malfunctions and repairs. Perform regular equipment maintenance to ensure production capacity and quality.
