FRANKFORT, IL — The students in Mrs. Covelli's specialized instruction class at Hickory Creek Middle School recently celebrated the retirement of superintendent Maura Zinni. Zinni was also presented with handmade gifts from the class, a photo of the class, a special place mat and a recipe book, the district said. The recipe book was a student-led project; the classused the computer to research and select recipes to include in the book.
