Press release from the City of Strongsville: Strongsville VFW Post 3345 will host its annual Memorial Day parade and ceremony on Monday, May 31. The parade will step off at 11 a.m. from St. Joseph Church, 12700 Pearl Road, and head south on Pearl to Zverina Lane. It will end at the Freedom Trail gazebo, where a ceremony honoring our nation's fallen heroes will take place. City of Strongsville administrative offices and the Ehrnfelt Rec Center will be closed on Memorial Day. There will be no trash pickup that day. Collection will be delayed one day for the rest of the week, with Monday trash collected on Tuesday, etc. Friday routes will be picked up on Saturday.
