UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Most meetings and events may be virtual these days, but there's still plenty happening on the Upper East Side. Tuesday, June 1 Ranked-choice voting town hall — Councilmember Keith Powers Virtual, 6 p.m.Learn about how ranked-choice voting works in this informational town hall Community Board 8 – street life committee meeting: Virtual, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 2 The Frick Collection — "Seminar Series: Recovering Women's Legacies" Virtual, 12 p.m. (free, register in advance) Community Board 8 – transportation committee meeting: Virtual, 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 4 Cocktails with a curator — The Frick Collection: Virtual, 5 p.m.Discussing Leoni's Medal of Andrea Doria Ongoing Upper East Side and Roosevelt Island artists are asked to participate in a June 12-13 art show sponsored by City Canvas, a new initiative by Community Board 8. Artists can display works, including prints, paintings, photography and quilts, at an outdoor exhibition along James Cagney Way on East 91st Street; and the Easton Plaza on 92nd Street.
