Press release from the City of Dacula: May 28, 2021 Proposed Project (PI Nos. 0006924): Gwinnett County Department of Transportation (DOT) in partnership with the Georgia DOT proposes this project that consists of the extension of Sugarloaf Parkway from University Parkway/ State Route (SR) 316 to Interstate 85 (I-85) to relieve congestion on surrounding arterial roads and to improve mobility between the northern (Buford/Sugar Hill/Suwanee area) and eastern (SR316/Dacula) regions of Gwinnett County.
