Requirements include; Previous Warehouse experience Good organizational and time management skills Standing, walking, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing and pulling Ability to lift heavy furniture and team lift Possession of a valid driver’s license Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems Job duties include; Oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods Planning and arrangement of goods within the warehouse and organize special requirements for certain stock Manage teams of workers and deal with personnel issues such as the recruitment, training and discipline of staff Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met Communicate & cooperate with supervisors and coworkers Training staff and monitoring their performance and process Review paperwork from deliveries to determine if additional work requirements will occur Meet with Scheduling Department daily to turn in and receive all delivery and receiving paperwork Ensure the health, safety, cleanliness and security of work environment
