Description

Looking for a reasonably priced electricain, or someone who may be a beginner, but is confidant they can do the work. It is a 940 SF house built in the 1950s, in Eastpointe. Most work is in the basement and likely has a circuit already in place for new or updated lights/switches. Relocate some of the wiring and junction boxes along more strategically placed paths where possible. I have a photo that shows some commercial work with conduit and I like the ideal of clean paths. I have made a data sheet that lists where everything is at. Still a work in progress. I should have all the materials, wiring, canned lights, etc, but welcome advice on where to buy them. I still have to get wiring and a few ceiling boxes. I purchased wago connectors and would like all outlet/switches wrapped in tape, and use insulated staples. I would like to be a part of the process, and to be abe to ask questions and follow the work being done, since I am interested in seeing how it is done. I am excited to get the work done and looking to find someone who is personabe and doesnt mind questions or giving advice on options of materials, routes possible, rerouting, new circuits, putting all lights on seperate circuits, etc. General scope of work 1) Install 8 to 10 canned lights, (A) 3 or 4 in laundry area (B) 4 to 6 in workshop 2) Move 3-way switch at top of stairs to adjacent wall, and hook up correctly. It turns off the lights in an adjacent room, so that needs to be correctly wired. 3) Update wiring, receptacles and lights to garage. 4) Change one light fixture in Kitchen 5) Find error in 2 bedrooms which have switches that are not working 6) Possibly run a new circuit for electric oven. 7) Install 2 lights in ceiling in front room. Leave info on how many years experience you have, age and any other relevant info on the areas of electrical work you are best suited for. Thank You Ben
