Looking to re-home my lovable German Shepherd (mix), Rocco. It is heartbreaking to re-home such a wonderful dog but we are moving into a small apartment and a family member has an allergy so sadly, we can no longer keep him. He is 3 years old, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, house trained and knows his basic commands like "sit, stay, leave it". He is a great dog for any adult- he loves children however he is too strong and still jumps sometimes so anyone under 12 or so would not be a great option. He is about 80 pounds and needs his exercise and room to move around. He can be very particular with other dogs he gets along with so we're looking for a home with NO OTHER ANIMALS (please). He is also very food-motivated and would be easy to do further training (with proper direction). If you have a backyard, Rocco would need some kind of fenced-in enclosure as he is a larger dog and loves to explore. He also is not a barker, we frequently have other people and dogs passing by our yard and he very rarely barks. PLEASE only reach out if you are serious and know you are in a good situation to adopt this amazing dog, as he deserves a committed and loving home.
