Harvest Internship Provignage Salem, OR & Lompoc, CA Job Description Our company, Provignage, manages winemaking for a group of renowned producers including Domaine de la Côte and its sister estate, Evening Land's Seven Springs; Sandhi; Piedrasassi; and the Pence Vineyard. We are looking to hire one intern based in the Willamette Valley. You would begin July 6th at Evening Land, and assist in summertime pre-harvest winery preparations. In late-August, you would travel to Lompoc to participate with five other interns in the California harvest effort. Around mid-September, with the California harvest quieting down and the Oregon harvest just beginning, you would return north. You would participate in the whole Oregon harvest (generally running til the end of October); and thereafter assist in tidying the cellar, squaring away the new vintage, and attending to the prior year’s vintage (racking and preparing wines for winter bottling). The internship would conclude by Thanksgiving, on November 24th. You would work under the immediate direction of Oregon’s and California’s respective winemakers, and have the opportunity to work, wine, and dine alongside Co-Directors of Winemaking Sashi Moorman and Rajat Parr. Ideal candidates are: • Team spirited • Extroverted • Good listeners • Adaptive • Curious • Hard working • Experienced in two or more harvests • Competent forklift drivers Requirements: • You must be a US resident eligible to work • 21+ years old
