Volunteer with a Purpose for Seniors during COVID-19. There are several different ways to volunteer with Bridge Hospice. Volunteer in the office and assist the chaplain with bereavement cards. Assist with birthday cards, socialization phone calls, and other administrative tasks. Write cards or letters of encouragement to patients, family members, or caregivers. Make a difference to a a patient with your encouraging words; we will assist with dialogue if needed. If you are a seamstress or would like to make crafts for patients we need your talents! (Supplies provided) At this point, we have limited visiting of patients, with full PPE (gowns, gloves, masks), but they still need encouragement in their lives via phone calls, letters, or even via zoom. We aim to make our patients and family members feel important for the rest of their lives. Please contact the Volunteer Department at today!
