Been trying to find that tight, rhythmically-oriented funk/jam band sound for a while. Currently have guitar & bass. We are primarily looking for a drummer/percussionist who is interested in playing across a range of styles and focus on dynamics. Also interested to hear from any vocalists, keys players, horns/sax, or guitarists. We play funky instrumentals (think Soulive, New Mastersounds), groove on select jazz standards, and mix in probably 50% original music. Goal is to be super tight on composed sections of songs and then add creative jam elements. Potential gig opportunities if we are ready by this summer. Did I find you?
