Oh and even though their "intention" was to stop the electoral vote, well they really didn't mean it. And lord knows it's always okay to have the armed Proud Bois, Oath Keepers, etc. on any tour you go on. And of course, they blamed Donnie for inciting them and not pardoning them, but that's what happens on tours you take right? Hypocrisy on display in the Republican party. They ran like children on January 6th when the attack began but now say it was just a few folks on tour. I bet you think the Japanese didn't really bomb Pearl Harbor. No one tried to overthrow our government, no hostages were taken or demands made. No one arrested inside had any weapons and no one attempted to takeover the levers of government. In fact of all of those arrested and going to stand trial not even one is charged with attempted insurrection but rather trespassing, disturbing the peace, breaking and entering, theft and destruction of property. The FBI DOJ and Homeland Security through their ongoing investigations concurrently have neither accused, charged or found any evidence of plans or attempts made for an insurrection. Continuing to call this event an insurrection is purely for political purposes. Which brings me to why would Pelosi needs to have Congress have it's own separate investigation while several Congressional committees are already investigating because she as Speaker of the House and the Democrat Committee Chairpersons have authorized their own investigating. It's so obvious Pelosi wants an issue to use in her vain attempt to keep Democrats as a majority in the House come the mid term elections by claiming Republicans promoted this event which they did not. You as well are in need of a civics lesson, the US is not a Democracy where the majority rules and its a pity you've been brainwashed into believing so, our Founders in their wisdom went out of their way to ensure this by creating a Constitutional Republic that has several buffers, obstacles and laws to prevent the tyranny of what a majority will inevitably cause.
