Description
The electrical grid is growing proportionately to the demand. This includes electric vehicles. If you are worried about stress on the grid, perhaps you should install solar.
Municipal Solar panel systems are coming on line every day. Wind farms are being built on and off shore. Now, CA will be installing hydro hydro electric power tht uses solar power to pump water up hill during the day and then generate power from that water during the night as it drains back down by gravity. Simple genius. We are even proud in power from fast growing algae. Natural gas is still a very big part of electricity production on the west coast.
We live in a remarkable time where advances in things are moving very fast. It’s very cool. One of the bonuses about this diverse strategy for producing power is that electricity becomes far more localized. We will be blue to shut down high powered transmission lines during high winds and still keep the power on.
There is no industry that is not embracing renewable energy at this point. Even big oil companies are converting refineries to produce biofuel which will replace gasoline. Cheaper, cleaner, semi local.
You can try to argue against green energy until you are blue in the face, it is happening at a very fast pace now. You cannot stop this train from rolling.
Trains, ships, and big rigs are now running on biofuel. Aircraft will be running on biofuel soon. A percentage of the gasoline that you put into your car is already ethanol (biofuel). The days of curing coal and oil will be over very soon. The entire world is converting to greener technology as some pace. Europe and Scandinavia are already way ahead of the U.S. Canada and most of Asia are making the shift.
This is an energy revolution that will change the world just as the industrial revolution did.
