Job Description Laborer Seeking to hire a Utility Pole Inspection crew laborer, who is responsible for the day to day labor for the inspection of in-use utility poles. The position will require regional as well as national travel with extended time away from home. Lodging covered by employer. Work is outdoors in inclement work conditions. Qualifications: · Work safely at all times · Inspect utility poles · Use hand tools appropriately, such as hammer and drills · Dig, shovel, trench earth · Spray utility poles with anti-decay treatment · Have basic computer skills Physical Demands: · Walk up to 10 miles of terrain daily · Regularly lift 35 pounds and up to 50 pounds off and on · Work in back yards of dense urban areas to heavily vegetated rural areas · Work in all types of weather conditions Other: · You must have a clean valid driver’s license ·You must be willing to travel extensively for the job · You must pass a drug test and background check Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.
