Distribution Center Associate Plymouth, MI Compensation: $18.50 per hour, Paid Weekly Schedule: 3 days a week/ 12-hour shifts Currently looking for individuals to fill distribution center openings in an industrial bakery in Plymouth, MI. Interested candidates should have 4+ years’ experience in shipping/distribution. Responsibilities of the Distribution Center: · Monitor quality constantly. · Know and understand all aspects of the Tool Box shipping System · Know and understand add/cut procedures in Tool Box. · Accurately break down product according to Tool Box. · Ensure all product loaded on trailers has been properly tagged and correct amount is loaded. · Coordinate with shipping supervisor on loads coming and going. · Know and understand procedures for freezer products. · Inform supervisor of any inconsistencies immediately. · Properly lock out/ tag out any applicable equipment before cleaning. · Keep work area clean · Throw discarded product into designated areas · Communicate effectively with other operators and supervisors · Any other duties deemed necessary by supervision Benefits of the Distribution Center: · Medical, Vision and Dental Insurance · Paid Holidays · Paid Vacations · 401K w/employer contribution · Paid Training · Company paid uniforms · Monthly employee lunches Requirements of the Distribution Center: · High School Diploma or GED required · Must be able to work in a physical and labor-intensive environment · Must have 4+ years’ experience in shipping/distribution. · Previous distribution center or shipping experience preferred. · Must be able to stoop, push, pull, bend and climb · Must be able to list 5-50 lb. consistently · This job requires a criminal background check.
