Dynamis Demolition is hiring for a Shop Manager. The Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing all Tools, Equipment, Spare Parts and Materials i.e. job specific items, all consumables, picking, packing, and delivering all materials, tools and equipment to assigned projects and/or job sites. Provides housekeeping in and around the shop, keeping it neat, clean organized. And daily shop cleans up. Essential Tasks 1. Must be able to work independently and with minimal to no supervision. 2. Load, unload and identify building materials, machinery and tools then ensuring they all get delivered at the right time and to the right locations. 3. Ability to drive company dump truck. 4. Communicate in a courteous and effective manner with both internal and external customers. 5. Confirm that all deliveries to Dynamis’s Shop are checked and verified to ensure the original purchase order and/or pick ticket matches to what is received and invoiced by vendor. 6. Prepare required documentation accurately to include inventory of consumables, special orders, PPE, equipment, saw blades, and demolition related materials. 7. Perform assigned tasks in a timely, accurate and efficient manner 8. Perform routine maintenance on demolition equipment & tools and then check that each piece of equipment is in good operating condition before mobilizing them to job site. 9. Ensure that shop is kept neat and clean 10. At least once each week compile list of consumables that need to be replenished plus any project specific special orders and submit to office for processing of order from vendor. 11. Ensure that the shop is locked up and secured at the end of each day and when scheduled deliveries, pickups, etc. have shop manager off site. 12. Must wear all required PPE, when and as directed, and be committed to Personal and Team Safety at all times without exception. Qualifications 1. Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs. repeatedly. 2. Able to be on your feet all day. 3. Be available for varying shifts including nights and weekends. 4. Able to work with and repair hand tools and power tools. 5. Ability to drive company dump truck with trailer. 6. Able to perform job responsibilities with minimal to no supervision 7. Must have reliable transportation. 8. Must have clean driving record and valid drivers license 9. Must be able to work overtime as necessary Education and Experience 1. High School diploma or general education diploma (GED) preferred. 2. General background in demolition and/or construction desired 3. Experience fixing small equipment, hand tools, etc. as well a maintenance on various equipment.
