Complete Building Services is looking to add a HVAC Mechanic to our facility team. We are supporting a large government building in the heart of DC as supplemental staff. Our team is focused on equipment upkeep and troubleshoot repair. The work week is Sunday through Thursday and the shift will be from 2:30pm to 11:00pm. While you are on site, you will be supporting the facility in the following capacities: Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair of HVAC systems and associated equipment Operate and perform Preventive Maintenance of HVAC systems and subsystemsMaintain plant and equipment in sound operating conditionPerform Refrigerant recovery and recyclingOperate Building Energy Management System (EMS) and associated building controls Interface with building managers and other customer representatives in order to ensure client satisfactionAccurately document work performed on trouble tickets or work ordersPlace and/or remove systems, hardware and equipment as requiredPurchase materials and supplies, and maintain inventory as required for timely work completionPerform other related duties as assigned You Should Have 5 years experience working on commercial HVAC systemsIdeally will possess HVAC Journeyman, but not requiredCompleted coursework in HVAC areasMust have working knowledge of 480V and below electrical systems, HVAC and plumbing systemUniversal CFC Certification RequiredMust demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in Building OperationsMust be able to pass background check to obtain government site badgePossess excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional demeanorMust be detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced work environmentValid driver's license EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled Why You'll Love Working With Us Complete Building Services (CBS) is a company that is passionate about the operation and maintenance of buildings/facilities in the commercial and government sectors.
