Description
Responsibilities:
- Make contact with customers to advise of proposed exterior assessment schedule
- Assess condition of exterior of assigned homes using provided equipment and applications. Assessment will include, but not be limited to, observation and documentation of, the following:
- Presence of conditions that may impact value or desirability of the home; such as power lines, dramatic topography, industrial/commercial/agricultural areas, unsightly adjacent homes or structures, significant driveway slope, aggressive neighboring pets, road-noise, municipal drainage systems
- Structural or moisture damage to crawlspace components
- Cracking of concrete driveways, walks, stem walls, foundation walls
- Damage to siding, stucco, block, brick or other cladding
- Broken or missing windows and/or doors
- Water intrusion and/or presence of potential leaks
- Wood damage
- Calculate quantities related to the above (e.g., count, length, width, square footage, etc.)
- Take quality photos of exterior of homes and conditions mentioned above
Qualifications:
- Identify basic components of a home (e.g., crawlspace, roof, walls, windows, window trim, etc.)
- Ability to measure for length, width, square footage (visual estimate is acceptable if experienced)
- Knowledge of basic residential construction materials (e.g., stucco, brick, pressure-treated wood, types of shingles, etc.)
- Ability to utilize an iPad for entry of condition assessment data
- Ability to use a map to locate property addresses
- Professional communication skills and high-level customer service abilities
