Where are the good banjo players?

Description

I'm local bluegrass and country guitar-picker and singer looking for local banjo player(s) to have on my call list (for real gigs that pay.) I recently moved back to the area and have few connections. I know a few banjo players in the area, but they are busy and I figured it can't hurt to see who's out there! Here's a rough idea of the picker I'm looking for. You must: -practice and like it -use metronome and like it -use picks -have 2 G strings -know who Alan Munde is -understand the number system (nashville or not doesn't matter) -care about the music -know how to dress well -understand there's more to bluegrass than 90's-2000's mash Would be nice if you: -doubled on fiddle and/or mandolin -sing -can read charts and actual sheet music -study Bill Keith -have your own mics/live setup -understand live sound -can learn a shitty cover without complaining (not tooooo many of course) -listen to other kinds of music -are vaccinated You don't: -harbor racist, sexist, transphobic views -expect alcohol at gigs -wear shorts to a gig -make your bandmates look bad Respond with a sample if you like, but if you're confident you fit this description let's chat!
