Okay this is my sweet orange hamster I am rehoming. I honestly don’t have a lot of time on my hands, and I want to find someone that can continue to bond with her. She can’t be just rehomed to anyone in my opinion. I’ll explain. When I first got her as a gift, she was deathly afraid of humans. I have no idea why, but she would scream and cower. So over time I just bonded with her, while she was inside the cage. Just by resting my hand in there and letting her explore me at her own pace. Over time I got her to accept treats from me. Eventually she started becoming excited every time she saw me enter the room because she knows that's treat-time. Now though I am very happy with this success she still can not stand being held outside her cage. I blame myself for this because I have honestly not even put the time in to bond with her. Even so she has become so much more use to and trusting of humans since I first meet her over a year ago. I also want to mention she has never bitten anyone. She really is a great hamster. What you’ll receive 20 gallon long tank with a lid ; the lid has a hole. I weight it down with books, so she does not escape Her wheels ; and some extra old wheels I found laying around my house. She must have the largest wheel, or she will hurt her spine. Thank you. Hamster hideaways Her hamster oxbow food and water bowls Leftover hamster food and treats A pet carry away container for travel Hamster dust bath powder The orange shorthair female hamster What you will need to buy before picking her up A 16 litter bag of CAREFRESH cardboard bedding. ~ unfortunately she can not tolerate wood based bedding such as aspen and pine. She will have a reaction and loose hair and be very itchy and sad. So this bedding only please and thank you. SHE DOES NOT COME WITH BEDDING ~ I just want to make this clear 100% so she isn’t without any Side note : if you purchase pet supplies through the petco app, and choose pick up in store ; you will save a ton of money and 10%-25% off your order so it's saved me a lot of money in the past. Home requirements Someone who has past experience with Syrian hamsters Not required but huge bonus : upgrading her cage to something much larger. I know she would adore to have more room to explore. She would not make a great pet for a child, so I strongly urge someone who is older. Must be able to drive to my town- (Benton County/Oregon corvallis) I can't drive. $20 rehoming fee obo ( this really isn’t about the money, I just really care about finding a great home) Okay I hope this doesn’t push people away, because I strongly believe this hamster has grown so much and is a wonderful pet for someone with more time on their hands. I just wanted to be clear with everything, and let you know exactly what you would be getting into. She really is a cutie pie.
